Biological & Biophysical Chemistry

Faculty conducting research in these areas work at the chemistry-biology interface to gain a deeper understanding of the molecular basis of biological processes including human health and diseases.  Insight can be derived from studies of protein structure and dynamics, metabolism and biosynthesis, gene and protein expression, and through the discovery and use of new probes and therapeutic agents.
