Education:
- Fort Scott Community College, Associate of Arts
- Kansas State University, B.S
Area of Study:
The main component of my research consists of microdialysis and pharmacokinetic studies. Microdialysis sampling has been found to be a useful method for monitoring levels of different analytes and drug substances in different tissues (i.e. the brain, liver, kidney, heart, skin and muscle). While pharmacokinetic studies are useful in measuring the amount of drug substances in systemic circulation. The combination of the two components, microdialysis and pharmacokinetic studies, allows the simultaneous collection for a complete profile of systemic and site specific mechanisms.
Personal Interests:

First of all, I am lucky to be married to my wonderful husband, Alan. We got married in August of 2007, which is the picture shown above. The picture is at our place with the families 1915 Model T. When we have time, we like to eat out and spend time with family and friends. Whenever possible, I also like to ride horses, and help Alan farm.
