Desk Assignments for First-Year Students

Desk assignments will be made for new students during Orientation Week by the Department’s program assistant after consultation with the respective divisions through their Division Coordinators. These assignments have no necessary connection to the student's eventual selection of a research director (see next section). Students will relocate after they have selected their research director.
